Oh yes, it's time to think hard about the little delicacies you could send in your next parcel to a fellow foodie somewhere in Europe!
Euro Blogging By Post is all about sending a randomly selected "partner" a small food parcel and receiving one in return, from another surprise participant. Whether you'll receive Turkish Delight direct from Ankara or incredibly spicy liquorice from the dark alleys of Stockholm, handrolled truffles from Belgium or a piquant sausage from Sicily, you're bound to love your CARE packet from a like-minded foodblogger. The aim is for you to get to know somebody a bit better, whether it's a blog you already follow or one that you've never come across before. And what could be better than experiencing them and their culinary heritage through your tastebuds!
The rules:
You must be an active foodblogger to participate and you must be living in Europe. However, I have had a few requests from people overseas, so if any European foodbloggers wouldn't mind sending further afield (beware of extortionate postal charges, though), let me know.
There is no set theme for this round of EBBP, but if you're lacking inspiration, why not include something autumnal... maybe a home-made preserve or a decorative squash - just remember that your parcel will travel a fair few miles and we have had very rare occasions where a packet only reached its intended recipient after a few weeks, rather than the anticipated few days.
Be prepared to send your parcel on the 2nd of October, I will be sending you an address to put on the label on the weekend of the 30th September.
If you want to participate, please send an email to johanna (at) thepassionatecook (dot) com, including the following information:
Your name
Your blog's name and URL
Your Postal address
Any allergies the sender needs to be aware of
Your food likes & dislikes
Please remember that your parcel will arrive during the day, so you might want to have it sent to your work address to avoid having to run to the post office later or risking a greedy neighbour tucking into your truffles while you're out!
Deadline for participating in this round is the 29th of September.
PS: If this is not the first time you participate in EBBP, please be aware that although we're making every effort to keep track of who's sent to whom, you might be receiving an address you have already sent to or a parcel from someone who's spoilt you before. I might be able to rectify this if you notify me immediately after receiving your address, but can make no guarantees...
maybe you can publish a list with all participants before the deathline? i dont know my mail arrives cause my email-provider is a little bit bitchy during the last days...

I am looking for anyone who is a food blogger from Holland. My dutch grandmother used to make this amazing dessert called "Lemon Fluff" - made with juice and zest of lemon. We've lost the recipe but it was a very popular dessert in our family. It's almost like mousse but not really and we usually served it warm. Definitely has constarch and sugar, that I remember but no flour for sure. It's most similar to filling in lemon meringue pie but fluffier.
