Listed below are links to weblogs that reference WTSIM... theme for January announced!:

» Dessert of the Week - Basil Scented Fruit Terrine from Spittoon Extra
I've been playing with gelatine this week, with rather successful results I have to say. Never used it before so was rather dubious that it would work. A couple of panicky emails to Jeanne though the day ('it won't bloody... [Read More]

>>No ueber-fashionable "verrines" here (although this would bea lovely theme for another WTSIM)<<

Was "bea" a typo, or a reference to the fact that Bea of La Tartine Gourmande really loves making verrines and posts about them a lot?

Glad to see that WTISIM is going to continue in 2008!!!

Great theme Johanna! Count me in!

Oh wow! This looks very interesting. I just got Thr Professional Chef cookbook/textbook from the CIA, and there is a whole section about making pates. What a great challenge and a good way to stretch my cooking skills!

If I'd managed to get things together, I'd have made a quasi middle eastern terrine with eggplant, tomato, onion. I was even contemplating doing it en croute.

Happy Birthday though!! I do hope the others are better prepared than I!
